What are products?
Products allows you to view products in the database and add to your products list or frequently used list. If the product is not in the database, you can easily add a new product. The products that you add to your ‘My Products’ list will be the products that will be displayed in the templates, instructions and stock management.
Search products
- Click on ‘Products’ in the left side bar
- You can search for products within the product database and within your products list
- At the top of the screen is a filter that includes the trade name, registration number, active ingredients and product type. If you are looking for a product with specific details, you can add those details into the filter and then click the ‘Search’ button
- If you have searched for a product and want to quickly remove the information that was previously added, click on the ‘Clear’ button
Add products to product list
- Click on ‘Products’ in the left side bar

Add a new product
- If you cannot find a product in the product database then you can add your own product
- To add a new product, make sure you are on the ‘Product database’ tab and click on the ‘Add new product’ button that is at the top right-hand side of the screen
- Add the product details and click on the ‘Add’ button
- Your newly added product will be displayed at the top of the list on the Product Database view
- If you want to add this product to your products list, select the checkbox and click on the ‘Add to my products’ button. This product will be added to your product list
- To view the product in your products list you can the click on the ‘My products’ tab at the top of the screen
Edit products
Organisation products
- If you have added a product, you can view and edit the product details from the Product Database and your product list.
- Click on the product or click on the 3 dot menu on the right and select the ‘Edit’ button in the dropdown. You will be taken to the product details view where you be able to edit the information and then click ‘Save’
Homologa products
- If you have selected a product from the product database, you can view the product but you cannot edit the product's details.
- To view the product, click on the product or click on the 3 dot menu on the right and select the ‘View’ button in the dropdown
- You will be taken to the product details view where you be able to view the information and then click ‘Back’
Delete products
Organisation products
- All products that have been added can be deleted from the Product Database and removed from the product list
- To delete the products added to the product database, click on the product or click on the 3 dot menu on the right and select the ‘Delete’ button in the dropdown
- A prompt will display asking if you are sure you want to delete the product. If yes, click on the ‘Delete’ button
- The recently deleted product will no longer be displayed in the product database or your product list
Homologa products
- All Homologa products cannot be deleted from the product database but they can be removed from the product list
- To remove products added to the product list, click on checkboxes and then click on the ‘Remove products’ button.
- A prompt will display asking if you are sure you want to remove the product(s). If yes, click on the ‘Remove’ button
