What is a calibration?
Now that you’ve added your vehicles, you need to add the unique calibration combination for your equipment (e.g. tractors and sprayers) to be able to create instructions easier. It is important to think carefully about naming your calibration so that it is easily identifiable when creating instructions.
Add a calibration
- Click on “Calibrations” on the left side bar.
- Click on “Create calibration” in the center or at the top right corner
Calibration Details
- Fill in the name of the calibration e.g. Tractor 1_Sprayer 1_3m_100l (The name should help you to clearly identify the relevant calibration combination when you create instructions)
- Fill in the “Calibration date” referring to the date when calibration was done.
- Fill in the “Row width” for which the calibration was done
- Fill in the “Delivery” indicating the delivery rate the calibration combination must deliver (litres per hectare).
Primary Equipment
- Choose from “Primary Equipment” dropdown menu the relevant equipment name
- Fill in the attributes relevant to this equipment type
- e.g. for Tractors the following attributes need to be completed: Gear, Revs & Speed
- e.g. for Sprayers the following attributes: Tank capacity, Pressure & Nozzle/Settings
Secondary Equipment
- Choose from the “Secondary Equipment” dropdown menu the relevant equipment name (this field is optional)
- Fill in the attributes relevant to this equipment type
- e.g. for Tractors the following attributes need to be completed: Gear, Revs & Speed
- e.g. for Sprayers the following attributes need to be completed: Tank capacity, Pressure & Nozzle/Settings
- Click on “Add” to create your calibration
Edit a calibration
- Click on “Calibrations” on the left side bar.
- Navigate to the calibration which you wish to edit
- Click on the calibration name or on the menu options (3 dot menu button) and select “edit”
- You will now be able to edit the calibration information
- Click “Save” to save the changes you made
Delete a calibration
- Click on “Calibrations” on the left side bar.
- Navigate to the calibration which you wish to delete
- Click on the menu options (3 dot menu button) and select “Delete”
- If you are sure you want to delete this calibration, select “Delete” on the warning modal otherwise “Cancel”
